Improving your odds

Having a cancer diagnosis can be devastating. You may be experiencing mixed feelings of anxiety, confusion, anger, and many more. You might have started to look at your options and probably got lost in the amount of conflicting advice out-there. Or you may be worried of a recurrence after treatment and want to explore what you can do for yourself so that the disease doesn’t come back. Overall, you know you’re in for a tough ride, and you may be wondering what you can do in order to live at your best and improve your odds.

Today, I'd like to share that yes, indeed, I have seen people coming back from the brink. I have seen a kids whom the doctors litterally gave hours to live and was sent home to die, and who was playing football six months later. I have seen a lady who was given only a few months, and decades later she is not only there but built a successful company. One of my relative had her face all swollen from the disease and now is as pretty as ever.

So yes, there is hope. All the doctors know are the statistics, which are built on the average of people with the same diagnostic. This include all of those who aren't looking after themselves, those who keep smoking, those who keep the same diet, those who still won't add any movement to their lives. All statistics have ouliers. There is always those who defy the odds somehow. Together, let's make you one who will defy the odds.
